julia just joining the party, upgrade this morning 135 mile-per-hour winds. the good thing here is that julia stays out in the open waters of the atlantic. no immediate threat to land. a lot of churned up surf across the flack. hurricane egor, winds were 155 last night, down to 145 this morning. it's still holding a very formidable girth across the central section of the atlantic. this is expected to be an active season. water temperatures are running about a degree above normal here in the tropical atlantic. the purpose of these hurricanes is actually to redistribute heat around the planet. they're doing their job of taking the excess heat, spreading it out into the atmosphere and it's definitely running its course with the category four storm. this one, egor is going to be a threat to bermuda, almost a direct hit this weekend, but by that point in time, it should be down to a category three or category two, still going to be a very potent system for them, still going to propagate big waves across the east coast. that's it, we get waves, not any weather out
